Sales Support Specialist

HammerTek Corporation of Bethlehem PA is the inventor of the SMART ELBOW® Deflection Elbow. This product has solved pneumatic conveying line problems for thousands of satisfied customers world-wide.

To serve our markets, HammerTek relies on a full-time sales team, a network of authorized manufacturers agents and the marketing support of our parent company, The Flexicon Corporation.

These factors, along with our product’s reputation for durability and performance, have fueled our record-breaking sales growth in recent years. Due to this growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team!

Duties

  • Review and respond to customer email and telephone inquiries to determine the nature of the request.
  • Route customer inquiries for technical information, requests for quotation, and purchase orders to the appropriate HammerTek salesperson.
  • Process, track, and distribute sales leads.
  • Provide sales history data and analysis to sales management.
  • Follow up with customers to gauge their level of satisfaction with the HammerTek Smart Elbow.
  • Generate monthly sales performance reports through tracking quotations and lead activity.
  • Review these reports with sales management to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client data, sales activities, and pipeline progress.
  • Research new target customers and gather contacts from resources such as LinkedIn, Hoovers or other information sources.
  • Assist sales team in planning and organization of territory sales trips. This process includes, identifying existing customers for relationship building, researching new potential customers in the target area and assisting with setting up in-person meetings in the region that is to be visited.
  • Maintain an organized and accessible filing system.
  • Interface with marketing team to develop, schedule, and execute print and email campaigns. This includes researching new companies and industries verticals to target and developing specific strategies to reach them.
  • Update and manage lead database following each mailing to identify returns and unsubscribes.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing collateral in office and assist sales in creation of literature packets for customer visits.
  • Provide updates to HammerTek management on status of current marketing initiatives.

Experience

  • HS Diploma / GED Required
  • 1-2 Years of Sales Support, Customer Service, or Marketing Assistant Required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and transition quickly between projects
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office, Access and Excel
  • Business-to-Business or industrial sales setting experience a plus
  • Experience with email automation software (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc) a plus
